- Applicants must be in their final year of uninterrupted full-time studies in high school or CEGEP. This means that you should be in the last year of your secondary education, fully dedicated to your academic pursuits.

- You must have been listed on the Dean’s Honour List for the previous study term, excluding CO-OP work terms. This recognizes your outstanding academic performance.
- Full-time students who have maintained a term grade point average (TGPA) of 8.50 or higher (7.50 for students in the civil law program) without any failures are eligible. Additionally, you must have completed at least 9 units of coursework with alphanumeric grades during the term.
